Here i present to the community
an unusual mono radio cassette recorder
made by JVC at the late 70s(judging by its looks).

The model is the RC-207R and what makes this
radio special in my opinion is its unique appearance
and its truely useful design.
What is so amazing and makes this model stand out
from the rest monos is its Flash Light/Lantern
feature .

I know that i am amazed with this feature alone
as i ve never seen it before at any old radio !
It s sound is pretty ok for a mono
and i really do like its style !!
Its like a little brother of the JVCs RC-717 and 707 only
with flashlights.
Anyway enjoy some pics of it

I like it.

If you are recording through the built in mics, you can depress editor switch and hold down to stop tape /record. It doesn't stay down when you lift off it goes back to recording . Also if you hook up multiple audio inputs in the back like a turntable or another cassette , the editor function makes it easier to make a mix tape. The editor function is more accurate than stopping tape.
