Mid 1970s Westron GEC 2004 with swivel base, AM, FM, AUX and Stereo Tape Deck! Found this operational unit this week on the side of the road
AC or 8 D cells. Sounds nice actually!

Wow...just on the side of the road. Quite a spectacle too...looks like some alien arrival dome scaled down.

The Coke Boomer looks pretty cool, i wonder if it's a custom piece? Looks like a promotional gift, Still way cool! :w00t:

:agree: with you, that it's made for promotional use. :yes:They pop up on UK ebay every now and again, not particularly rare. I remember them being for sale in the UK back in the day :-)

Haven't checked the whole thread, hope this one wasn't already mentioned. It's a mini with the turntable! "Support" Made in Hong Kong, I'd say most definitely before it was merged with China.

That's really cool, LJV! I believe member Stranj-Boomboks has an "AKA" of that boombox.

In response to a request by Mr Lasonic TRC-920 in this thread, here are some piccies of my newly acquired JVC mini box, the RC-N5. This isn't - in my opinion - as unusual as many of the boxes that have been posted to this thread previously, but it's not the commonest thing in the world (though there is another one on eBay right now) and has some oddball design features.
It's shown standing by the daily use Sharp GF-555 which has been given the task of looking after the new kid on the block in case the bigger 3 and 4 piece boxes try to bully it, this gives an idea of scale.

Rare 'round these parts, that's for sure.
Strange, with the volume, tone, and function controls on the back. :hmmm:
