Just like you said. There is very little bass. Interestingly, there are more on the C7. But it is not clear to me why this is so. But it’s pretty loud, and that’s true.had the c9 great boombox pauly, not a bass monster but quite powerful, i wish i could remember what happened to mine, i have had so many lol....it's boxes like these that should be classed as grails and not m70's imho
I have a C7 with a working cassette player, and the C9 is a bit annoying ...I checked the speaker phases,polaritet..., thanks anyway. I will jokingly connect speakers from C7 to it tomorrow, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CURIOSITY ....you could check to see if the speaker wires are wires in phase pauly, in other words try connecting 2 wires on one speaker the other way around....once again congrats on you're c9....does the cassette deck work my man?????
I agree with the polarity of the speaker wiring sometimes they get it backwards you have to plug one in listen to it then plug the other one in and make sure you're satisfied with it then leave it alone. I noticed on my c7 that from the factory the woofers were out of phase which led to almost no bass.you could check to see if the speaker wires are wires in phase pauly, in other words try connecting 2 wires on one speaker the other way around....once again congrats on you're c9....does the cassette deck work my man?????
Yes, I also bought a JVC PC-5 a long time ago, which had, inside the box, wrongI agree with the polarity of the speaker wiring sometimes they get it backwards you have to plug one in listen to it then plug the other one in and make sure you're satisfied with it then leave it alone. It is not clear to me how this is possible. The C9 is much more powerful, but that the C7 has a deeper bass. I’ll really explore a little more of it all together. Insulation inside comes first, but it doesn't give any deeper bass, yes, the sound is immediately more pleasant, because there is no such plastic rumble ... Maybe today ... Thank you.I've heard a C9 and a C7, the C9 easily has more bass than the C7. It's just a "tight" type of bass that needs to be cranked up. Replacing the speakers would definitely help, some people have done that with good results. Or you could try adding some fiber fill inside, but it won't work as good as replacing the speakers will.
And yes, of course the speakers will remain original, because for HI FI listening to music I mostly use the PHILIPS system with Philips F 9638 MFB speakers. Anyone who knows this or has heard these speakers knows what I'm talking about. And sometimes the HITACHI HS 30G. They are not bad either ...It is not clear to me how this is possible. I opened up and did a little research on the speakers from both SANYO boomboxes, the C7 and C9. Interestingly, the C7 has wooden boxes with a bass reflex channel and a speaker with a softer diaphragm mount, while the C9 has plastic housings and a closed speaker system. And it has a really strong speaker, but I find the sponge to be a little stiffer as well. However, I covered the plastic speakers a bit with felt and the sound is a bit softer. And yes, of course the speakers will remain original, because for HI FI listening to music I mostly use the PHILIPS system with Philips F 9638 MFB speakers.
