My cousin from "across the pond," who now resides in SC, was in town to for his daughter's Christening. He's not a collector, but wanted to see the Conion, so I told him to meet me at has brother-in-law's new house. We had a great time tippin' a few back and letting the neighborhood know this family had arrived.

Cleaning up the garage, getting ready for the West Coast boombox Meet in August and CRACKING some AC/DC through the M70

Everybody from pre-teens to senior citizens loves a bit of AC/DC! 
But which do you prefer, Chris, the crazy Aussie or the equally crazy Geordie with the taste for vintage Bentleys? I'm lucky enough to have met Brian as he's from about an Hour south of where I come from and he's one of the most genuine, kind, warm hearted guys in the world. Totally unaffected by his LA lifestyle, he always has time for his fans when he's back home and he's been known to get up on stage in some of the region's smallest bars to give his people a good old tune when he's out for a mineral water or two.
So naturally, this means that I had to fire up the Technics SA-C05L and plug the LineX FM transmitter into my laptop, where much of my music lives these days, so I'm now blasting "Ballbreaker" with the volume pretty low because when a box makes a genuine 30WPC (RMS, there's none of that "PMPO" crap here!), they're plenty loud enough at this time of the day. Dammit! I must be getting old.

Right now today I have bought a Philips Soundmachine D8614 (mintcondition). I Think it is from 1983.
I bought one myself when I was 12 years old, now Im 42 years old so this is really retro and nostalgik (how do I spell it?
