Was cranking the M-71 by the pool tonight.
Looked beautiful as the sun was going down.

And that's exactly what they were made for....as simple as that!

Today, I have mostly been listening to this:

I just de-boxed it a short while back, having first united it with a handle that I just happened to have from a spare PC-11 that I parted out after using parts of that to modify my own. It was from a seller just up the road in Dundee and was sold cheaply - IMHO - for one of these in such generally good, fully working condition. I guess the lack of handle might have put some potential buyers off.
 :-D

By an alarming coincidence, I've also been listening to some of Mr Wallace's stuff earlier today, but on a JVC 5 piece device that's currently keeping my boat permanently set in a big, stupid grin!
Then I opted to play some Túpac, in the interests of objectivity, since I never was one to take sides in other folks' arguments.
Finally, before I said goodbye to the PC-5 and gave it a discrete kiss  as I left for my work, I listened to a couple of Horace Andy's solo songs and set myself up for the day with some Clash, some Toots Hibbert and Madonna's "Ray of Light," as I drove to today's first session at the chalk face.

Still grinning now, counting the minutes before I get back to my JVC. I would take it to the office but I'm weak and it's bloody heavy!
