National Stereo Mac ST-5 RS-4250.
Who told you the C46 doesn't have tweeters?Mystic Traveller said:Domestic Japanese National RX-C46, widely known as Panny RX-C46.
National is rather not rare in Japan still but what distinguishes this model from Panny is the inbuilt
FM transmitter (ON AIR setting).
Also, it has only one-way acoustics, no tweeters but sounds great for its size.
That's mine I used to have - you can see the small screwdriver in the battery compartment
for adjusting the transmitting frequence if needed.

I meant only local Japanese National RX-C46.
Come on.. The title of the auction is partly copied from my postMystic Traveller said:Thic Mac is a great example of the Matsushita machines in the end of 70s - congrats!
Still not that rare in Japan itself but it won't last forever.
Personally I am not a keen fan of 70s boomers' design - a bit old for me but MAC ST-5 and JVC RC-838 are 2 ones
from 70s I am going to acquire sooner or later.
And I am not very happy about "Japanese" FM range of 70s and - up to 90MHz only.
One Mac BIN on Ebay in Tokyo:
