The modest Panasonic RX-5100...

came in a number of versions...

but probably the rarest was the RX-5104, made in Mexico, with all wording in Spanish...

Yes it is same, but I suppose that the cassette holder and turntable attachments comes packed together with the boombox when is new purchased.
So, because is portable you can decide what do you want to attach on back side before going out.
If those SG-740 have side connectors like on the picture below, then I was wrong , someone else has this boombox also.
However I'm still thinking that this is very rare machine
