Decided to dust off a box of old cassettes and play them in the Sanyo M-X920. This unit really has a nice cassette deck and it gets very loud compared to the line input...very loud... :-D

Listening to some Padora radio (anyone who hasn't tried it, it is da bomb) on the Sanyo M-X920...this is really a sweet sounding radio. Instrumentals are really accentuated on this radio. Sanyo has one of the best engineered "Wide" settings I have heard.

Hi everyone- I have to ask:What boombox are you listening to or cranking way up to I should ask??This can be an ongoing thread-other days just put the "other" boomer your listening to.

Mine this week is:My original JVC-PC-55JW I bought brand new in 1985'.
There is just something special about listening to an original 80's boomer that you personally brought brand new.
It's so powerful-I love it!!

I'll have to get out all "The Papers"-Yes Tony,your not the only one that has all his papers on his original boombox.

So-let us all know what box your cranking out to!!

I´m just looking for those uncommon nice boxes.
About the TEC:
I also got an 1212, but the 4040 is much more looking solid and nicer!
I got to thinking how cool Roman's TEC boxes are (not to mention his Soundmaster and 555), and decided to be cool myself and pull out the ol' Blaupunkt GP-1 for the weekend. A crisp, clear, medium-size pumper with tri-color LED VU's and those Sharp-like, dual, upper-left tape decks.

And since it's a Blaupunkt - and since Roman speaks German - my tape-of-choice for today is "Zeit für Kinder, Zeit für uns" by Rolf Zuckowski. Cute songs. Too bad I don't know any German.

That BLAUPUNKT is a really nice box. :yes:
Never seen one in real.

Only got a users manual of it.
(Anybody gave it wrong to another box i bought) :blush:
