Hay everyone, Haven't posted on here for aaaages...
I noticed that the condition many of you have kept your Boomboxes in is amazing, Many of them look as though you've only just taken off the wrapping paper...
its awesome,

Anyway i'm still posting, However seeing some of these above photos makes me really regret selling both of my C100f's back in 2010, hard times tho..
When i get them back i'll do to them what I've done to these...

Enjoy....!!

As always I'm cranking the Sanyo c7 I got from you and she's a tank lol.
3 years and its never moved because it spanks anything that even tries to take her spot.

Now that looks like a boombox one would love to have. Pleasingly uncluttered façade, likely respectable power rating (over 40 watts, yes?) and it even tunes shortwave in two bands: the familiar SW1 and SW2. (Tunes them digitally, to boot. Reminds one of a – of my – LASONiC DTS-98 … which, sadly, remains a non-functioning, internally wrecked mess upon delivery  …)

Since we're on lockdown, I'm actually using my home office as an office, rather than as a general dumping ground for random stuff.

Obviously going to need music whilst I work (or pretend to), so I'm using an old Pure Highway in-car DAB gadget to retransmit 6Music via FM to my childhood throwback boomboxes.

Today was the turn of the early-90s Samsung, tomorrow will be the late-70s Ferguson.

Have got a particularly attractive early 80s box (it's around the same age as me) on its way from eBay. So that will be added to the rotation once it arrives. And an old mono transistor radio - again early 80s - that needs a light restoration before use. Both to get their own threads as and when...
