Started with the Fisher PH-492, then the Pioneer, CK-3, then the JVC PC-5...

But I had to go big...way big...bigger than a boombox for Carly Simon, Donald Fagen, Ambrosia, Steely Dan, America, Fleetwood Mac, Doobie Brothers, etc...

My father had a Sansui 5000 receiver when I was a wee tyke...wish I still had it like I do some of his other equipment. :-D

Very nice, Freddy!

Finished this baby up last night. Still has minor problems like the stereo light doesn't come on & the muting needs adjustment. Need to buy a second hand signal generator. Oh well, I'll fix those when I go back inside to replace the lightbulbs I need to source. Now, without further ado:

Thanks to Cpl Chronic's information, I now have a Zoom Q2HD camcorder, so this isn't as bad as the sound would otherwise have been on one of my youtube uploads!

Highly recommended wee thing, though it can't hide the Technics' reaction to my domestic generator and its somewhat harsh waveform when used for AC (that interference in the background at the start). This device gets rave reviews all over the internets and usually costs around £160 but..

LOOKY HERE! :-D :-D :-D

Yep, under £79 from your nearest branch of GuitarGuitar, and mine was ordered only yesterday but got here today at a shade past noon. I'm not fully versed in its many talents yet (hence the somewhat low level on the Knife Party track), but it should make my vids sound as good as the Cpl's some day, as soon as I finish working it all out. ;-)
