I would love if they re-opened the Kickstarter for another round. I totally missed it the first time around and if it's only Kickstarter, then lots of people would be out of luck including me If this is the start of a series, it makes sense to get as many backers as possible. Hopefully the JVC M70 is next.

Can’t be doing with them being unable to stick to their promises.
It is evident that saying “we noticed some flaws in our production...” that this could go on for another 2 years.

I dunno. It's definitely a bummer it's delayed, but if I remember correctly I believe the original estimate ship date was Christmas 2020.

Being delayed a month or two for something like this that they apparently seem determined to do as accurate a mini clone as they can.... I feel that's reasonable.

Add in likely delays because of possible Covid restrictions/delays... I honestly would expect probably even a couple extra months. Hopefully not, but I'm not surprised or worried.

More updates more often would be nice though.

Hey all, We’re pleased to report we have finished testing and are finally satisfied with the overall build quality, detail level, and mechanical functionality of the M90 MINI and M90 MICRO Boomboxes! Our factory partners have returned from their Chinese New Year break and the tooling phase of the project has now begun. We expect to finish debugging the molds and start plastic injection and then pilot production in approximately 60 days. Long-lead time components have been ordered and we are awaiting delivery confirmation. Once that is compete we will come back to you all with a firm production plan. In the meantime, there are a number of minor software bugs to address. We are confident we can correct them all in parallel with the tooling process and do not expect the debugging to delay pilot production. Here are a few images of the M90 MINI final engineering prototype! Note these are not the final colors and decoration.​

Man, been waiting for this **** for a looooooong time.
Hopefully it will be worth the wait.

My opinion is that Nothing can match the original but for us collectors
this is a great project even if this is JVC M90 on scale.
I cant wait to deliver their final product. This is
a project thats been on for quite some time now. If they have an eye for perfection
all of us who will get it i guess we will not be disappointed.

Weird how they put an update on their site but didn’t email those who sponsored them making it.

A few of us were lucky enough to hold the prototype during NostalgiaCon, and even back then it looked fantastic!
Can't wait!
