but I deserve every bit of it
- as a sideline - and yes I underplay everything, so excuse my dry Britishness, but:
On top of all the sh1t I have been getting at my work over the last 3 months - My house was broken into last weekend.
They stole 6 laptops (2 worth 2,000 pounds) - my PS3, my Wii, 3 ipods, 1 iphone (still in wrap), cash, 100 music CD's(!!!)
BUT
BUT BUT
they left my boombox display
my HiFi (Naim/Linn set up worth more than a second hand car)
my Omega Speedmaster
my 2000+ record collection
my Nikon lenses
so i have a sort of excuse - the last 4 months have been awful
plus
i did the tapes ages ago - but liked the tapes so much never sent them!
i'm such a c*nt sometimes
that's life
and you will get them
I might even do it on MONDAY

Man, I'm really sorry to hear about your misfortune C.B. Leaving that much behind, I hope they don't come back for round 2!!!! (knocking on wood).
I just saw an opportunity to bust your balls a little bit and you kinda set me up for that pretty good. Send them whenever.

Sorry to hear of the loss! 
There is something to be said though for old gear. It would be harder to resell, and very easy to nab someone that took rare vintage gear.
We had an incident last week where we came back to the house to find the front door open. We looked around and couldnt find anything taken. They passed over the big 80s fisher stereo, the cassette tapes, old boomboxes, vhs tapes, vhs recorders.. 100+lb old tv..

I bet they were thinking 'lets get the ..out of here'.

Well.... the tapes went out, but never got to Jaetee...
ALL IS NOT LOST HOWEVER
I got the tapes back friday. USPS returned them due to an "invalid shipping address" though i put exactly what he sent me. I have pm'd jaetee to verify that the address I received was correct.
As soon as he verifies this for me I will be shipping them out again via UPS this time.
Sorry for the delay!

The tapes arrived yesterday evening! Looking forward to giving them a good listen today!
