I'm paying back a debt to this GZ guy for saving my C100 from damage I did to it :

He has some excellent blasters but they all need TLC to make them sound right and function enough to have clear reliable listening.
Because he helped me with that C100 door I felt obligated to pick up a couple loads of his blasters to do a little detoxing, cleaning, antennas, repairs, and some bonus upgrades.
On this list:
- Clairtone 20/20 (antennas, tear down for deox) DONE!
- JVC RC-M70 (OG antennas/bases, tear down for deox, FM button broke, missing handle mount, screws missing, + bonus) DONE!
- Clairtone C100 (dead, complete board swap?) NEXT
- Sharp GF-777 (tear down for deox)
- Realistic SCR-8 (maybe - not sure what for)
- Toshiba S90 (maybe - for broken deck door, deox)
So far I was able to get the 20/20 and M70 rocking again and added some LEDs to the M70 VUs. They are on all the time when the box is powered on, but then turn off when you hold down the dial lamp button and the dial lamp turns on.
Some pics!
