Hitachi TRK-W55E is another boombox that was with me for a while.
I found it in January 2024. There were also cosmetic remarks.
Hitachi needed new belts and good cleaning.
After little restoration boombox work good.
I sold him in local internet site.

I think every collector should have at least one good egg in their collection. I keep hoping to find a Panasonic cobra for myself.

Though I never wanted an egg, a Victor RC-XC3 came into my hands. I took it for two reasons - 1) It had the HMV Dog logo (His Master's Voice) along with Victor badge! 2) To take out the free moving Woofers for using elsewhere.

But it happened that the box was working readily. And it's sound beats every other boomboxes in my possession and became a keeper.

I didn't look for these egg boomboxes on purpose and I paid nothing for them, they are gifts to me.
2 I gave to my uncle - Roadstar RCR-4532 and Sencor SPT 221
and 2 stayed with me - Philips AZ1027 and LG LPC-LM340X
I don't like this design, but they sound good, so I'll use them as long as they work.
