You need to be careful with it though. The first time you strip the chrome off those thinly coated plastic parts will be the loudest "OH SHI*AT" scream your neighbors ever heard.

Ira I have this Idea that involves silly puddy as a mold device and jb weld that might work to mold that little piece.
Also I wanted to reserch on s2g that post about molding parts. That part wouldnt be hard to recreate especially being I have a good piece.
Completely up to you I can understand your excitement about getting it back but I dont think a wood chip is going to cut it???
