Hooray! I finally received the refund today.
Only after some panic time on the phone with FedEx though, they processed my package without Signature Confirmation which eBay said was required because it was over $250. I found the error one hour after leaving FedEx so I called the guy back who processed the package an hour earlier, he cancelled the transaction and reprocessed it with Signature Confirmation and left the receipt for me to pick up the next day which I did.
On Wednesday when the package was heading across the country I checked tracking, it didn't show ever leaving the FedEx store I dropped it off at. Thursday morning I called FedEx and explained the situation so they opened a case, while I was on the phone with FedEx I checked the original tracking number and WTF? My package was traveling under the original and wrong tracking number. I stressed with the FedEx rep that it was critical that it have the Signature Confirmation, he admitted it was FedEx's fault and contacted the office in the recipients town in order to add Signature Confirmation. I wasn't comfortable yet but felt better, what else could I do? Well this morning when I got up I checked tracking and it showed being left at the doorstep with NO Signature Confirmation, WTF? My stomach turned, did I just lose the boombox and my $270 to this looney biotch who sent me broken crap? I had all the information at work for the FedEx case so I headed to the office to make a call to eBay to plead my case.
When I logged in to eBay at work I quickly noticed the case was closed, WTF again? I checked eBay email and there it was, they closed the case and issued a refund. The looney biotch sent an email admitting she received the Boombox and complained about my packing to eBay, there's Irony for you. I put her crap packaging in another box that was only a few inches wider on each side then packed in some styrofoam peanuts, I didn't have to pack her box in another box at all and why should I since it's going to cost me more. She's lucky I even packed it in a second box but that's just how I am even in the case of getting shafted.
The looney biotch is still threatening to get even with me and has her family working on an Internet Fraud case.
I'm going to put her emails in a post for you all to read and definitely put her in the feedback section as a seller to avoid at all costs.
