What Do You Hate Most About A Boombox?

My favorite things about the m90 hmmm. Um looks and sound lol.
It looks like a battle ship , primitive but evil.

Its more of a muscle box in a world of annoying turbo's .

I think I missed the context of this thread "what do you hate most about boomboxes" Basically just me nitpicking technological details, I think for me the worst is big boomboxes that have terrible sound. and all the cheap junky boxes that overshadowed the good ones.

I hate the design of Philips Boomboxes and Boomboxes after the 80's 90's (horrible black plastic!)

I hate those ugly big ass platform feet on the bigger boxes , its like a goofy way to make them stand taller than they really are.

I hate that they made the upside down boxes like the RX 5350 when that **** woulda been more bad ass with the tuner at the top.

Another thing I hate is how they ruined a lot of nice Boxes by using sliders instead of knobs.

Logic decks........If the belt breaks, the heads get stuck in the up position, preventing you from opening the door, which forces you to take apart the box.

i also don't like mechanical decks, more reliable but there just simple and boring lol

I use to love the logic touch controlled decks, Always seemed like a nice touch back then, Luxurious, because pushing that button was just so exhausting Now I like the mechanical ones, they are more durable, and the mechanical action is cool too in an age of touch screen everything!

I hate it when people say the dust caps on the M90 are too small you have to realize that if they were bigger the speakers would look too close together.

Well i think the m90 dust caps are to small, Floyd kick my A$$ lol but im not prepared to change them as i want them original

the hemiguy one isn't original but that's why i bought her because of those marantz speakers and she was in the first ever sunshine mix in 2008, what a box

What's worse is when you have what you think is a high performing speaker with a golf ball sized dust cap only for it to fall off and reveal a dime sized coil loop underneath....lol..it's kinda like meeting a girl with great cleavage only to find out once the bra is removed the only thing between them is her belly button.

Yeah I never did like titties that were bunched up together to increase the appearance of cleavage , I like em low slung and natural lol.
I also hate tiny voice coils on supposedly bad ass looking speakers.
