I think you know from owning various Toshiba's that they don't really "crank". Every box I have (with the exception of the other Toshiba I have) will blow it out in terms of loudness. Superior sonics are their strong suits and I can live with that, not that I have much of a choice in the matter.

Anyway, the last time I played it was May 30th when I took it outside and snapped some pics... Now that you've brought it up, I might play it later.

i have never heard that nice toshiba model --
but
that loud is not always best --

2 boxes i use alot just CANT get loud, at all -

but they both sound so beautiful -- on the way up there

both are medium size 3 piecers-
the marantz 3500 and the aiwa ca70

i borrowed 2 woofers from my gf 777 so i could listen too the lasonic trc 920 which has blown woofers ,man she cranks good! this is the strongest trc 920 i ever had, for woofer excursion it just cant be beat.

The problem is, it looks better than it works.
Right tape is broken and i must switch it to mono.
At stereo is a humming, don´t know why.
Hope i can fix it.
