Redbenjoe: Along with Lasonics TRC-931 and TRC-920, the Trident (a box a childhood friend had in 1985/86) and to a lesser extent, the Rising 20/20, the TC-999 has sentimental value 'cause those are the boxes I remember wanting when I was growing up in the 80's. That said, that day will (hopefully) never come! :-P

Glue: There are still other boxes I'd like to get, but they're what I would call "2nd string" or "bonus boxes" - boxes I want, but wouldn't go to extremes to try to get. And if I never got 'em, then it's no big deal. When the S90 arrives, there's absolutely no other box that I "need" in my collection. :no:

The BomBeat 40 might be the exception tho... I'd go for broke if I had the money, but the box is so ultra rare, I don't ever expect to see one available for sale.

Only Ronco could make such cool tapes-yes even better than ther infamous K-Tel!

BTW-Freddie-Patrice Rushen's "Haven't You Heard" :love this song! It happens to be one of Jimmy Jam Harris' favorite songs-used to talk to him & hang out with him in the 80's!

Cranking up my newly acquired Sony FH-7 in silver...this thing has ridiculous power!! I know alot of you love the M90 and so do I but this boombox absolutely crushes it on power and sound. If you dont have one of these you gotta get one...warning...it weighs a ton!! ....jamming the SOS Band greatest hits...
