This past Saturday Night my band had a show and then threw an after party at a local hotel. We packed a bunch of people into our suite and when I showed up, they were all kind of mulling around, a few talking. I walked in a hit the power switch and with in just a few moments people were yelling and laughing and the party began!

I was using my Realistic SCR-8 with my mp3 player plugged into it. Both ran on batteries all night (The SCR-8 on rechargeable Energizer's)

My band mates were giving me ****, telling the others in the room, "OH, You brought the small radio huh?" because last week I walked in with a GF-777 and they just about had a stroke!

It was a good night or partyin', music and friends.

Took the day off of work to do daddy-day care.

Little man is snoozing right now, and I'm sitting on the back patio with the trusty laptop and a cup of java...

I've got an MP3 disc full of house tracks a buddy gave me... loaded into a portable CD player (mp3 capable) that is plugged into the aux-in on the Pioneer Sk-71.

The VU's are pumpin, the woofers are shakin' :stereo:

(and I've got a the baby monitor in earshot, too... ;-) :w00t: )

Earlier today, I shoved the SK-71 and it's 9-batteries under the stroller, took David and the dog for a walk down around the block, too! The Pioneer is getting a healthy workout today! and it's not even noon yet!

OK kids...
There hasn't been a picture of a Boombox on this thread in a while.
It's OK if I've seen it before, I gotta have my full color digitals man!

Cheers OSS :afro:

Gluecifer,

King Tubby and Scientist! I know the M90 is good but doubt if it could recreate the bass on those in the way it should be done. Back in the seventies and eighties the reggae sounds used to custom make their own equipment in order to play that stuff.

I have to say, your really a bit if a music connoisseur on the music front - a very healthy varies taste.

Chilling out on the back deck, the morning air is crisp, listening to some Great White

It is always safer to listen to Great White outdoors. :grim:
