Howdy everyone, getting into fixing all my classic boom boxes.

Not a boombox - but I did recently "crank" some Bluegrass on my 1971 Zenith Trans-Oceanic D7000Y. If I pushed those 500mW NPN Silicon Transistors any harder, distortion would start to kick in unless I turned the tone knob all the way to the right, or used earphones (which the volume would be WAY down, otherwise I would break them earphones by overload)
It does sound great overall. Good bass response for a 4x6" 22 Ohm AlNiCo full-range.

Walking on Singapore with singaporean JVC RC-363. One the best boombox for traveling. Small, 3kg, and good biphonic sound

I can't say I've seen that on radio speakers either. Think I have on car speakers or something though, can't remember what exactly.
