That Sharp QT-73CD is an awesome box, with 7 speakers! Where are you located?

I bought on online from a Japanese auction site.

Errthang inside it is too fancy or parts are NLA  Electrician guy couldn't fix either the CD or cassette. I had him add blutooth to it.
It bangs with a nice deep fullsome bass but I feel like the 380 slaps harder.

And to stay on topic, all of them, again.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

Where is everybody on that beach? That's cool that you have that much room all for yourself.

Isn't that the truth. Heck I'd be blasting the Volume way past 10

Maybe that box sent all the iPod and cell phone users running for the hills so fast they smoothed out the sand :w00t:

It's a huge beach. Less than a dozen people were out. But i did have up to 8 for awhile. Was starting to distort. Next time the lasonic 931 comes. That one i can max out 🔊

Of all the boxes I have acquired lately, I keep coming back to this one. My GE will always be my first but there is just something about the little 70 that I just can't shake. Is it the biggest no...is it the loudest...no...is it the rarest...no yet it keeps being the one a I want to grab and enjoy (even over the M90!)..I keep flocking back to it like a man cheating on his wife and I don't know why. It must be because it is practical and has killer sound for its size. I really don't know. All I can say is I think I have found my most compatible vintage portable to me. Heck maybe it's the idea that I can rewind up to 16 tracks and play the 17th song. Really?...lol. Anyone actually do that?

While all of my controls are operating normally, it makes my quest to find replacement pesky sliders a mandatory quest because I can't live without this machine now especially since members here have contributed to its completion.

I don't have millions of radios but I know what I like and if I had to pick a soul mate in the boombox world..its the M70 and according the subject line it's what I'm listening to now so here's another pic :-)
