Can't match Wheelies and M90s but my latest eBay impulse buy - like comfort food with speakers and a (fully working) tape deck - arrived today in time for me to test its function before heading off to work.

This thing is amazing! Everything works, including the various drum sounds and the two track recording facility which, curiously, uses a stereo r/pb head to create two mono tracks on one side of a tape which means that tapes recorded using the machine play properly when they're put into another deck.
FM aerial is straight and tight, radio reception is every bit as good as my Hackers, Grundpigs and Graetz radios and it doesn't half kick out some bass, I've been listening to Big Country's "The Crossing" album on the thing before deciding that I really should head to work in case the students noticed that I should have been in an hour sooner.

The thing's pure brilliant!

Is very similar to Panasonic RX 5410.
