Those Fishers are suprisingly good workhorse boomers.
You know I'm more of a one piece guy, so I hardly ever dig into my 3 piece collection, but it had been a while and you know what, this box ROCKS! Obviously, not a huge bass machine, but if you want shear VOLUME in an out door setting, this is the box to use!

I've had the building to myself since yesterday, so I'm taking advantage of it. Waiting for my girl to swing by and getting pumped for another playoff weekend by blasting some mid-90's hard house on the DT707. I'll never get over how cool the decks are on this thing. :-D

Gotta love the decks on these. Does the '95 have the Techno Surround function?

Hmm, the speaker grilles on these amazing modern boxes remind me of something :hmmm: .......

Got it! Late model BN Plastics Robin BN1/BN2, the car of choice among the UK's professional footballists.

We Cobra Top owners take our (I use the term lightly) "boxes" very seriously. My 707 is from '92. The bass Panasonic manages to squeeze out of them is mind blowing. They're pretty big too. The pictures don't do the size any justice. :-)
I do wish the 707 had a lighted display like the 95 - but it's not really a necessary mod I feel like toying with.

The RX-DT707 is mind blowing in its sound quality and tonal balance. I heard a kaboom and it's total bass and flat in sound with no treble. The Panny blows it away in equal balance of bass and trebles and cranks to your ears hurt. I have one now and love it! I bought one new in 1992 at Silo for over $500! I returned it two weeks later because I couldn't justify having such a huge boomer when I was living in an apartment at the time and couldn't crank it. I got one a few years ago to fill the void and use it all the time. I actually like the look of this "ugly egg" and the square silver purists should listen to it before busting on it. They would be surprised.
