....man that thing sounds good at least coming across youtube on my PC speakers...

I was thinking the same thing! It must be an incredibly neutral and well balanced sound at first hand to translate so well as an openly recorded source. It must also have been recorded with good equipment, I've posted youtube clips of various of my boxes and they all sound terrible even when - in the case of the B&O especially - the subject will pish all over many established "grails" in a first hand comparison.
Hmm, this must mean that I need both that Russian box and a decent quality video camera.

I also love that Sansui.

The camera is a $108+shipping Pentax. :) The box truly sounds amazingly good, for only 2x10w 16cm,almost 777 sound.Loves jazz and classical music.
In Ukraine's interwebs it's super cheap.I found mine localy here is Bulgaria for $17 including the roach nests inside. :)

The Sansui is on my wishlist. :) Love quality boxes.

Just listening to Falco 3 on my newest find a near mint JVC-X130. For 20 watts rms sure sounds big! Great JVC quality.

Dear kingrat2010,

I too have two boys 24 and 20 years old BIG guys.

One finished his Grad school and other is in Med School! When they were little like your prince, I had no boombox in my collection then. It was all good memories of having them back in the late 70s and 80s.
back in 1990s I hardly got any sleep because I was in college and doing a full time job to survive.
3 hour sleep was a big luxury back in the late 1990s in US. I still wonder how I survived!

What is our handsome young boombox lover baby boy's name? He is so sweet! God Bless!

A pic of my family in 1995. I got another MS. On my graduation day!
