You could always add an addition to the "Casa de' Benjoe" via the porthole!

Goals for this year are to thin the collection a bit. space issues. probably will make a post in the "for sale" here, eventually. For 2015 my goal will be to actually make the post of the items for sale from my 2014 goal. In 2016 I will make a goal to start responding to the inquires.

I'm getting towards the end of the 'hardcore' collecting now as I'm at about 90% completion of all the boxes I 'have to have'. Theres about half a dozen more I'd love to have, but then theres a tonne more that would be nice to have too, for the right price. So those ones come in every now and then that are a nice bonus that will hopefully continue, particularly with minis.

After completing a few grail-quests in 2013, I'd like to continue that trend in 2014 a Prosonic PQR-9962. GE Blockbuster, Lasonic TRC-935 and a BomBeat 40 (of course, gotta keep the dream alive!).

I'd also like to have my next custom completed ASAP. It was meant to be done months ago but hopefully it'll get rockin within the next month or so.

That said, my first goal is to get the collection from my living room back where it belongs after the current renovations are done (within the next few days with any luck) as they're residing in the dining room currently, looking most unhappy...

Rock On.

My goal is to consolidate things a bit and find a nice, healthy Sanyo M9998K - that would make my year if I can achieve this.

It's getting harder and harder to find the nicer boxes for the right price with many 'non-enthusiasts' snapping up the good 'in the wild' finds and posting them on Ebay for a quick buck.

Good luck this year guys,

James... :-)

I don't really have any specific plans for this coming year, other than I'll probably sell a few as I like to be in control of my collection rather than it be in control of me lol

As for specific boxes I don't like to aim for any in particular...if you say you want a specific one you can guarantee that'll be the only one you can't find lol...I'm just aiming for anything that's a little rarer in the UK, ones that are just a bit unusual I suppose...and cheap of course! :-D

Then you must try a Hacker, the UK's only wholly domestic brand, all extremely well built and sound amazing thanks to large oval speakers in proper wooden enclosures. I would recommend their biggest and best, the SP80 but the next one that appears in PastTimes Radio's stock is mine! Mine I tells ya, since I foolishly sold the last one I had to a USA-based collector of Hacker products.
The mono RPC1 cassette Sovereign has a transport mech supplied by Nakamichi and an 8x5" speaker. They sound amazing too though are a pain to work on since the whole chassis comes up from the top of the cabinet. You need these things!

First: sell/trade my Sharp VZ-2500, that thing is too huge, and a JVC M70 since I have 3..

Then possibly try to fix some decks, Crown 850, Toshiba 9990, and The Captain.

Then I have a few on the wishlist, above all a Sanyo MX-920 and Sharp GF-9696, secondly perhaps Lasonic 920, Toshiba Bombeat 16, Sony CFS-99 and Aiwa 770A.

Hoping to do more deals with members as well as the recent turned out a success !

Peace
