Awesome find once again Chris. And I would still consider it a boombox as well. She looks purdy now all cleaned up. Great job👍

Yeah, it's got that gaudy Lasonic / 80's style going on. Damn thing is the size of a guitar half stack!

Are those woofers seriously 8"? They don't look like it. If so, that's amazing. And 57.6 lbs WTF?!?!?!?!?!? That's 25 lbs more than a Fisher 492!!

Yes, 8" speakers. It is loud as hell with just 1 channel. When I can, I will open it up to fix it's 2nd channel problem

Wow!

I bet the wood adds some weight to that beast.
The whole cabinet is pressed board and the speakers are wood as well. VERY HEAVY!

Yours and mine both!
Couldn't you just see this thing sitting on a tiny drum riser stage in the corner of a dirty little bar in Taiwan. An ashtray and drink rings on top. A stinky spit soaked microphone plugged in, waiting for the next drunk to scream "Smoke on the Water" in broken English
The system has a sticker on the side from the Netherlands in 2001. Does anyone know what this is? It says "Prioritaire". Is this a shipping tax?
I wonder if this system was purchased by a serviceman in Taiwan and taken to Europe and then brought back to the United States  :hmmm:
Man, you gotta love singing karaoke to buy your own machine!
