What is odd is that ClaretBadger's profile showed he logged in today. Last I read, he still had the tapes, yet he didnt post anything today in this thread!

It makes me think he accidentally recorded over the wrong side or something...

The last I heard from AK74 was that he was expecting to get the tapes sometime towards the middle of last week, based on PM response he got from CB.

I've been quite distracted and away from the PC the past few days, but based on what I'm seeing here, that did not happen.

I think its safe to say that we'd all love for this project to get moving along again... and with a bit more transparency.

relax guys - tapes were sent last week

I have been in Europe all week - and then work started having a melt down when I came back

hopefully AK is coming home to them on his mat

Thanks for confirming things are back on track! Good luck with work!

I'm behind after missing a couple of days myself.... (and am here instead,   )!

no tapes arrived...

What is most interesting is your posting time is 1134. Which is 'hell' upside down on a digital readout. Everyone gets 2 minutes of hell a day.

At least he is reponding now, so I'm sure you will get the tapes sometime.

these tapes better be epic by the time they get to me, lol.

The real question seems to be whether or not the tapes will ever make it through German customs. I received a PM notice from Andre (AK74) today indicating that he has still not received the tapes from Claretbadger. You would think they'd be there by now, so I think that customs must be the hold-up.

I can tell you from personal experience mailing the occasional parcel to my brother in Germany that customs officials there take their jobs way too seriously. Not only did bro have to make a special trip to his local customs office, but he had me email him a JPG of a signed letter stating the contents were a gift which he printed out and took along. Then, they even made him open the box on the spot to verify that the contents were indeed what I had put on the declaration form. (It was children's books and miscellaneous gifts for his 3 yr. old). It was a major headache for him and took much longer than it should have. While I don't think this is necessarily the norm, but it can happen.

Maybe they thought we were smugglers....?
