Hi all!

Decided to put a part of my collection on show in here also. :) Without further blaa blaa, here's the best of my small collection.

Got that TPR-950 yesterday. It was filthy as f**k, smelled like ashtray. Gave it a quick clean with Ajax wipes and found great boomer under the filth. :D

I also have a few others, I'll add them later as I take better pics of them. :)

Thanks guys!

Hitachi TRK-3D2 is a really nice boombox for such a small device. It has some bass when using the "3d super woofer" and it's nice to carry around hence its compact size. It takes 6 D batteries which seem to last forever. One of my favourite (and first) boxes! :)

Edit: And the build quality is quite nice too!

The Sanyo is smokin' hot!!! Love the silver tuning section on that version!

Thanks! :) Actually I like it silver too. I've seen a lot of photos with black tuner. This one is M-X920K and I think it's been sold in europe. I believe that the ones sold in the US have black tuners? 920K has also fine tuning ring with the tuning knob.

I have the Japanese version, the MR-X920.... It has a black tuner too. :-/

Welcome Opamox! Great collection, the Sanyo is exceptional!

Fantastic to get a member from Finland too! My most favourite ever band is Finnish.
The gods known as XYSMA!

Best of luck collecting more, Opamox.

Love the boxes opamox, but your vinyl collection looks good too! What types of music are you into?

Oh my, thanks for the great reception! :)

The Sanyo seems to get most of the attention. ;) It was just pure luck I found and got it. I found it from a local auction site. Had to pay only 40 euros for it! I've never seen a grail like this anywhere in Finland since or before (well a friend of mine has GF-777, but he ordered it from China). The tape deck needs belts and left antenna is missing a tip. It also has some minor scratches, so it's not mint. Id like to get a Sanyo M7900 on top of that 920 some day because it looks like a miniature version of it. :D

Gluecifer: It's nice to hear that someone knows a bit more underground band from Finland too, not only HIM (thanks Bam Margera for that ;)).

Master Z: The most part of that pile visible in the picture is mainly late 70's and early 80's boogie, disco, funk and soul. Black music. I also have some drum n bass, house, pop and lots of other great misc stuff. Still that 1980-1984 golden era of boogie funk and disco is my absolute favourite right now.

Here's actually a dj set of mine if someone's into disco and stuff. :)

(EDIT: by the way, that set is just about 45min so it'll fit on the other side of 90min tape :breakdance: )

My dj name is T-Juna, which means T-Train. Someone (at least from the US) might already spot where that name gets it's influence from. ;) I'm not a pro, just havin' a great hobby so be gentle when listening. :D

OSS: Thanks! Kano is one of my favorites too. When I spin records at home the sanyo works as speakers. :) The sounds of an old school boombox are just perfect for old school disco.
