Hey guys I would like to tell you that Boombox stood behind their product the gentleman‘s name is Louis and he was fantastic they are sending me out a brand new unit and it’s not made like my first generation one was they’ve made some drastic improvements but they have my respect because they made good for it i’m so happy️‍️‍️‍️‍️‍

I would also like to Add That they’re not a fly-by-night company they took very good care of me today

My only holdback is what if you were not a member here and didn't post this., would they have stepped up in the same manner?

This issue should have had the same result from the first time you contacted them, prior to this thread appearing.

I know that the word bumpboxx resonates here on boomboxery but I have to say that I have literally beat the **** out of my 1st Gen Freestyle and it won't die. I've ticked off my neighbor....he's actually in the nuthouse now...no lie. And the bumpboxx helped with bringing out his insanity. Needless to say there's been a little neighborhood battle going on because of the bumpboxx but now that he has been arrested and isn't coming back home anymore I tucked it away after that but still get it out when I want to raise a little hell. It still has the OG battery although I am sure it may not go 12 hours anymore.

Glad things worked out for you. I have known the CEO of Bumpboxx since their first gen models and he has always stood behind his product. The fact that he sent you a new one when your 5 year old model went bad speaks volumes. You won't find any electronics company that will do that. Rob has always supported the Boombox community on the West coast. He will always have my support as will Boomboxery. Glad there was a happy ending. Too bad so many had to jump in with negativity prior to your positive outcome. Such are the lessons we learn in life. Congrats Jimmy and enjoy that new box.

Great to hear they sent out a replacement unit after so much time.

I remember finishing my huge DIY V5.0 BT box around a year before the 1st Bumpboxx was released. I was always amazed how they could retail their box for less than the build cost of my V5.0 box!

I will say that my stereo V5.0 box has been beat to hell indoors and outdoors and apart from a couple of replacement batteries, hasn’t missed a beat.
