So it sounds better than the HP800? I've always wondered what those sound like.
To me, the Uher sounds very good, nice bass....... but the treble is not as precise as the Studio 1's.
Also, beware of the tape deck.....When the belt breaks, it often causes the motor to run PERMANENTLY.

Yep...I'd say it sounds better than the 800. It's first advantage is the wooden cabinets versus the plastic on the 800. Second, the 800 is not as smooth nor clean bass wise compared to the CC9000. Highs are definitely cleaner and midrange doesn't overwhelm. I'm actually listening to both right now. :-)

I never use them...ever...and they are quite rare...i haven't seen/found one locally for over 7 years!

10 or 20 C-100's Reli???...that was MANY years ago :lol:

The problem with these boxes is that the speakers need to be bleached (or painted white).

No problem my man. If it helps Scott and anyone else who wants to get their hands on one then hijack away. That's the cool part when someone can see a boomer someone else posts about, and it becomes a reality for the readers via the same thread. :-D
