So it sounds better than the HP800? I've always wondered what those sound like.
To me, the Uher sounds very good, nice bass....... but the treble is not as precise as the Studio 1's.
Also, beware of the tape deck.....When the belt breaks, it often causes the motor to run PERMANENTLY.

Yep...I'd say it sounds better than the 800. It's first advantage is the wooden cabinets versus the plastic on the 800. Second, the 800 is not as smooth nor clean bass wise compared to the CC9000. Highs are definitely cleaner and midrange doesn't overwhelm. I'm actually listening to both right now.

I never use them...ever...and they are quite rare...i haven't seen/found one locally for over 7 years!

The speakers are not truly white. They are more of a dark cream color...

I've a pile of boxes with white speakers...but I can't see this one with them. It may look good, not better because it is such a unique look that differs it from the rest.
