The new selectable transformer is in along with the main chassis. I tested the cassette for any problems and it appears that everything is okay. APSS works too! I couldn't find my mini-to-1/4" headphone adapter so testing for sound will have to wait until the morning.
The big problem of the night was to rebuild one of the broken antennas using parts from two of them. A trip to Lowe's for some JB Weld and Loc-Tite is planned for the morning also.

Try using a white wax pencil to color in the numbers on the tape counter.. When you are finished wipe of the excess. The white wax will stay in the number groves. I had to do this as a kid on some dice that came with a Dungeons and Dragons roll playing game. The game came with a small wax pencil and you had to color the numbers in on the dice. Worked great and the wax stayed in the groves.
