These things are ridiculous. The person who originally purchased this back in the day was REALLY making a statement!trippy1313 said:That things over half as tall as your wife!!! Wow. That's unbelievable how big these are.
I never stopped thinking about the Wheely since the day you came by. Ever since then I HAD to get me one!THAFUZZ said:I'm late to this party. Fantastic work Chris. You remember when I brought My Wheely to the Your house for the very 1st West coast meet? How people's jaws hit the floor when I played that Car Subwoofer bass test song on level 8? Those 10" woofers bit those low notes like no other box could. Maybe My 3D guy can reproduce parts for whatever Your need, Keys, rear tape door compartment , EQ slider caps (translucent color), etc. You're doing a superb job just the same. Very impressed.

This is something I would like to do as well. I don;t know what the amp output is on these, but I have a 15w per channel amp I was thinking of playing withjimmyjimmy19702010 said:Last time I had one of those things in the workshop, I was looking into bypassing the amp and introducing a D class amp to really drive those fantastic drivers to their limit and beyond. I know they sound ok up to a point but the original amp just doesn't have the juice to pump the bass beyond that mid volume level.
It never happened as it wasn't my box and the owner wasn't interested it increasing the performance.
It sure would be nice to hear a Master Blaster that cranks as well as it looks!!
Congrats again on a meraculous restoration!
