Oooh, just found this thread. Pretty cool!

I also have Nikon D700 and Nikon D200. And a couple of Panasonic P&S cameras

As far as taking a good pic - I usually take a few hundred, and a couple of them turn out good

As far as shooting outside on a sunny day - it's pretty challenging - I try to use a remote flash in BL mode to lift the shadows :)

The other reason is i recently noticed this htc evo cell has a totally scratched lense. For an 8mp camera phone its a crappy design, the lens sticks out and as result its the first thing that gets scratched up.

I love my HTC EVO, lol! I put one of those silicone cases on it and the thickness of the case keeps most things from touching the lens.

This was taken with my EVO:

i'm digging the colors in this photo, it's nice and clear. Do you have problems with saturation when it comes to sky shots or sunsets on the "EVO"?

Thanks!

I'm not really sure. I haven't used it in those situations.. yet, lol

This thread is awesome!!

I'm a completely rubbish photographer, but I do revel in the challenge of trying to get good shots of my radios.

Heres the best shot I ever took of a blaster:

Here's some more ones I'm proud of:

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6668

I'm using a Fujiu S1500 bridge type camera at the moment and have done most everything I can with it and am going to step up to a Sony A-55 in the coming weeks.

Learning MUCH from this thread, makes much more sense to me than reading online guides that are too broad in scope. I do believe it's an entriely separate discpline shooting boomboxes indoors due to their size, level of detail and reflective nature.

Rock On.
