Our Midwest Mini Meet with pics !!!!

Scott just left a little while ago and has at least a 4 hour trip ahead of him back home We had a great Mini meet though. He had brought with him his JVC M90, of course plus his Telefunken studio 1, Fisher 480, panasonic RXC-60, Crown 950, and Spuds JVC 550 He also brought me as a surprise, for myself, a Bentley Walkman with headphones and ministereo speakers (NIB) totally great of him In our discussions we were thinking of trading my soundesign 4641 for a sanyo dual deck he had but when he got here I fell for the Crown 950 so we decided to trade his crown for my Soundesign plus my Randix We checked out each others boxes i fell in love with the Telefunken and Scott was in AWE with my Sanyo MX920 so he said he gots 1st dibs if I ever sell it So we then decided to trade my Sanyo for his Telefunken What an awesome trade This was definetly an awesome mini meet, Cant wait to get another midwest meet going

Hey Bill,thanks for a great day and an AWESOME time!!!!!!
Bill and his fiance were great hosts and he cooked some burgers on the grill............
I just got home about an hour ago.
It was about 491 miles round trip....... |-) |-) |-) A boring trip by myself,hint hint Joe...... ..........
We worked a great trade,I think Bill was totally in love with my Telefunken,so I had to leave it behind,but not before I stole his Sanyo M-X920,hehehe..........

Speaking of BIG, that JVC 550 is HUGE! I had no idea there were that big!

I know, how's about the size of that monster It was the 1st time I had ever seen an M90 or a 550, and both together Jeannie and I thought the 550 was so damn huge next to the M90, the sound was ok on it I really had such high hopes for the sound on both JVC's but I think the Telefunken just took my breath away

Thanks for all the comments guys Scott is super cool and I hope to have another Midwest meet real soon with him and anyone else from nearby, or anyone who don't mind the drive We were talking about something more centralized between Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana for a 2 day meet, maybe at a hotel next time
