BTW, the postal limit is not 108" L x Girth but rather 130". However, the larger box will cost SUBSTANTIALLY more to ship as it falls into a category of very large box and not large box (108").

The 130" only applies to Parcel Post. It does not apply to Priority Mail, or International Priority Mail. Those limits are 108" for Length + Girth.

This Joel (Spud) is such a jerk. So, you think I broke it myself? Now I really know what you are. Thanks for jerking me around. All I wanted was a nice 777 and I thought people here would be trustworthy since they seemed to be real boombox enthusiasts but I was so wrong. Now I cant even look for another one because I paid $600 for a broken one. Thanks a lot Joel.

You are the jerk Rick. The first thing you did right away was accuse me of sending you a broken boombox. Now with the evidence showing that was not true you are lashing out at me again. I was more than willing to help with the insurance claim. Then I get this nice PM from you.....

Come on guys - **** happens. I am pretty sure that most everybody on this site have received some broken boomboxes at some point.
For example, I bought M90 from Tim, and it came smashed in pieces. So I bought some glue and glued it all back together. Then I couldn't even look at it for a couple of months, but now it's my favorite box.
So yall take a deep breath and try to work out some deal. Name calling is not going to fix the boombox, or make any friends.
Rick, like I said - I know how you feel, but you are going to turn everyone against you if you keep using that kind of a language....I'm just sayin'

This thread has gone from good, to bad to ugly, and poor Melly's original post is now lost.

I'm outta here.

Rck1983, you and 71spud need to take care of this in PMs. It has already been proven that the GF-777 was shipped with extremely sufficient care and packing material. To be quite honest, the picture you posted appears to have scratches - not cracks. The gap between the front and rear case could just be a loose screw. Then again, it could be an entirely different GF-777.

If Joel says he will work with you, then he will work with you. However, given the attitude you have taken with him right off the bat, I wouldn't be surprised if he declined to do so.

Any further inflammatory comments regarding the transaction between you two will be deleted.
