Bill We all would love to have a minty stock m90 but when the one you have is beyond that point it becomes a candidate for a " limited edition", "custom" or "personalized" box.
...it's my candy and this is how i'm going to eating it.
Well anyway My buddy and I finally found time to paint it. We are on the 2nd of 4 steps waiting for it to dry. He recently switched over to a "Dupont" system that's why it took so long. Dupont had to pull his old unit out then replace everything. Another company tried to talk him into the new "Waterbase" system but he decided to stick to the solvants for now.
I guess the benefits of growing up in Flint Michigan is if you ever need something painted or parts for a "GM, Buick, Pontiac, Cadillac, oldsmobile, etc. There will never be a problem you will know or live next to someone who works in the industry.
On this project here's the goal... I want to bring the control panel out front with a lighter color in the foreground as if it were seperate components. If you look at the M90 body mold it suggests "seperate" components.
Just like my old drum machine, this will be blingy and shiny-"Not flat Stock"-(sorry guys this box is a limited edition and personal). This box was too far gone for stock, besides i've lived a parallel exsistance with most aspects of this subculture i'm trying to remain inspired :sin:
You will soon find out what the custom "Blue" is for later...
