need some help with a garbage night find

Hi I picked up a box out of the trash a couple weeks ago , it has little green spots on the chrome buttons and knobs (im guessing these are pinpoint chips in the chrome and the copper oxidizing underneath ) anyone have any ideas how to get them off , im not having any luck with the few things ive tried

thanks lol and it wasn't far from queens right across from belmont racetrack
im bringing it to my guy soon to have him straighten out the few things that are wrong with it but the green spots are buggin me
