Thanks man. If you want bass, then bass is heavy! Big magnet speakers and a solid casing are essential ingredients.

It doesn't actually feel like 37.5 pounds!? The soft, comfortable handle and the low centre of gravity probably has something to do with it.

Hey Jimmy, the more I look over your builds I see how the DJ Tech has a very similar master volume control style as yours and the bumpboxx has a similar style that you had in your build too....... There are loads of DIY boxes so no way to say who is first, right?! LOL

True! But remember that this is build 5!! According to the timing offered by Bumpboxx, they started development of the Freestyle around 6 months after my V2.0 box hit YouTube.

We all get inspiration from those who went before although chances are the folks at Bumpboxx never saw any of my builds!

The early prototype Bumpboxx did look a little like my V2.0 though.
