hello.. and what a beauty. so much in fact i want too do mine.. i have a parts m70. so i tried the top trim in gloss white. with krylon fusion for plasitcs.. i gave a light sanding. cleaned it off... and hit it with a coat. but ive noticed where the lettering is for the controls seems too be repelling the paint? did this happen too you too?? or does that happen on the first try.

I didn't have a problem with the paint not adhering. You have to prep and clean any area that will be painted then be careful not to touch it before applying paint. I actually used Krylon paint as well and it still looks perfect 4 years later.
