Hi Melly-That's really cool!!
Now I'm tempted!! I have 2 M-70's and I just might do my 'C' in Blue!!
But it could be a while because I have to fix the dial thingy.It's kind of off of it's string.
I really like the new colorized M-70's!!

just sick melvin...that looks friggin unbelievable :w00t: . I am awaiting an m70 if it is rough, it is gonna get that treatment for sure. killer job

...many thanks blah-blah...it takes a lot of patience to get it right but very much worth it. The pics don't relly do it justice. I can't seem to stop looking at it...the wife is getting jealous....

That is perfect!!!!
Its been a long while since I introduced some of the first
of the painted boxes on S2G years back with the Conion restoration.
The Black Crown last year was my first custom though ,
so its good to see others joining in with the custom jobs.
I know first hand its ALOT of work.
BTW a jet black Rising with the white woofers would look great.
I had put white woofers in the Crown when I first did it and it looked great

Again That white M-70 is hands down one of the nicest customs ive seen !!!!!

...thanks hemiguy...I cleaned, sanded and taped that thing for 6 hours before applying paint and clearcoat and it looked flawless....sadly my wife ran it over today with her SUV so I am looking for another to re-do in white....

...stay tuned my next M70 is gonna be JVC blue...haven't decided on whether I'm gonna do chrome or black speaker grills...

I really like what you guy's do with the 70's ,I've seen some great refurb's/paint change's. VERY NICE 70!

the reason that many of us like the m71 version so much --
is because its a change from the semi-boring and extreme common grey m70

imho -- the m70 is too good to be boring looking --
so the white and the maroon jobs --
