My friend Norm motivated me to customize my favorite box, the M70. When I looked at the photo-shopped pics of different colored M70's I knew white was the color I wanted. Originally I was only going to paint the front. I then decided ti customize the whole thing. I stripped it down and painted the entire front cover and top plate in 3 coats of gloss white. Then I painted 1 coat of clear pearl and 2 coats of clear gloss. I painted the back cover in 3 coats of silver metallic and 2 coats of clear gloss and speaker grills in 2 coats of high gloss black. The handle has 4 coats of gloss white and 3 coats of clear gloss. I painted the top plate because I am having clear vinyls made for the controls in JVC blue writing. I must tell you a LOT of work went into getting this perfect. I sanded every knick, scratch, and gouge until the outer case was PERFECT. There is not a defect to be found. I hope it doesn't turn into a shelf queen...nahhhh... Enjoy the pics....
