My woofer rings are bumpy and gouged up, but maybe send some chrome woofer rings too in case I ever get the urge to smooth them out and rechrome.

Vinyl stick on. It doesn't damage the original finish so even if you have nice tweeter trim, maybe apply these to keep the look and protect the originals.

No. Even with the strange markings on my trim, it was smooth enough to just stick it on.
