Any imperfections under the film will be telegraphed to the surface of the film unless it is a thick film with a thicker adhesive layer.caution said:That would be a good idea. I applied a couple of them to mine, which had been touched up with silver paint, and I could see the contour of that paint in the reflection.

Definitely want one...caution said:If anyone is interested in a strip for the chrome along the bottom of the dial window, send me an IM.
Oh that material looks nice Eric, I think that looks more OG, although the shiny blinged out version makes my M90 pop, hmmmcaution said:I picked up a roll of a brushed metal pattern over the weekend, and cut some M90 trims from it. They use the thinner material, but it doesn't seem to matter as much since it's not a mirror surface showing every imperfection. I thought I'd offer this to anyone that wasn't too keen on the chrome, and wanted something more like the original JVC paint.
Yeah, that's the thing! Plus it's a thinner material so anything wrong with the surface shows through easier. I tossed a pair on real quick as a test, knowing there are surface imperfections.SLO said:Oh that material looks nice Eric, I think that looks more OG, although the shiny blinged out version makes my M90 pop, hmmm
