Bought an M70 on Saturday and reading about the BT mod on here.

Got a 80's themed xmas party at work coming up - started browsing 80's options on ebay, noticed a Hitachi 8290 like a mate had when I was young, ended up buying the JVC


There's no fidelity improvements with BT 5.0 though, it is just SBC.

I wonder whether the fidelity of the M70 is good enough to tell the difference between that and AAC or AptX, but I guess it might be as I can tell the difference on my Dali Katch.

Very nice!!! I still haven't done any more BT mods after doing my TRC-920. But it's still working great.
