Lasonic TRC-975 questions

so my extra minty friggin beautiful 975, with the plastic still on the handle, arrived today. i know i know yall want pics....those are comin....eventually. but it looks just like the one in the pics from the recent Lasonic factory tour....really..it does. im so damn busy........i dont have time for fun.

question 1 what years were those made? i thought they were made in the late 80s early 90s but the date code says 2000.3. Is that march of 2000? really? wtf?

question 2 anyone know what the retail price was?

any info would be great. thanks boys

These were from early 90's Mine has date code of 1993 I purchased mine at Woolworths for $179 New: in 1993-D

i got it on ebay i couldnt resist. it was soo pretty.
some guy in kentucky. i told him exactly how to pack it and he did a phenomenal job!
its a sticker that says date code then in pen it says 2000.3. i mean its so clean i could believe it was 11 years old, but i was sure those were older.

i dropped it off at my apt today. wont be goin back anytime soon. shackin up with this broad.....i have my m90 and an 8989 over here....so i guess its kinda serious
