He had one on ebay that I was watching - the problem for me is most of the boxes dont look that clean to me.

He’s not responding to my messages anymore and hasn’t shipped the box so looks like I might’ve got ripped off. I’ll let you know if it’s ever shipped

He just got back to me and said ships tomorrow. I’m too paranoid to order from overseas. It’s too stressful for me. Lol

He's got no feedback as a seller. I saw that listing and was wary because I got ripped off by the guy selling the Conion crc58. I hope you get it but if it was legitimate he could have sold it for ten times what he sold it for.

I know it makes me nervous. At least I used my credit card and PayPal so if it doesn’t come hopefully should get refund. The same guy ripped you off or someone different?

I got ripped off by a different guy, he still has the Conion up for sale under a new account. He takes your money and then disappears. I paid through Pay pal so I got reimbursed but... it took a few weeks. It's like a free loan for them, they take your money and then you have to fight to get it back. I'm very wary of any overseas listings that seem to good to be true. I do hope for the best for you though because that'll be the steal of the century if it works out.

Looks like he never shipped. Guess it was too good to be true. I see he sold some other boxes as well. Hope nobody on here bought them. I’ll have to figure out how to get my money back from PayPal :(

That the guy from Indonesia? He does put most of his radios on Youtube, so they do seem legitimate. He has like 20-30 radios on his channel.

Thanks for the reply. That makes me feel a bit better. Hope it works out. I bought last weekend and he still hasn’t shipped but we’ll see. It’s weird he had no sales or reviews. Guess he just stared selling on these places?

ask him if he has shipped yet, if he replies he is probably legitimate, i have sold lots of boomboxes for way under ebay prices because there just old radios at the end of the day

I saw a m90 on his site and m70 i went for the m70. If i got ripped off the hit wont be that hard, but who wants to be scammed

Looks like it’s on the way so that’s good. I just noticed from the pics that one of the boxes has all zeros on the tape counter. From my experience anytime I see all zeros means the cassette deck doesn’t work. Hopefully he just pushed the clear button or it coincidentally stopped there.

Hi. Brand new member here. I also purchased an M70 from knobzstore on Etsy (he said he had 3 units). I’m new to the collecting scene and just took a flier on this purchase.

I haven’t received my order yet, but I now have a DHL tracking number, which makes me feel better. The seller has been in contact with me from before the purchase and seems like a good guy, but I have no idea about the legitimacy of his business. I found his website and Instagram page and saw that he had his own branded insulated bottle and t shirt so I asked if I could buy one of each of those. I figured if he couldn’t sell me those I should start to worry about my boombox purchase. But he was happy to sell those to me and I paid an additional amount via PayPal. I received that package via DHL last week and they’re pretty cool! Unique items and my kids immediately laid claim to them.

Hope it all works out. DHL estimates delivery on June 7.
