Sorry Ira -- I did a visual inspection and I see a boombox begging to be painted. What am I missing?

OK. I'll give it some more thought first. Then I'll paint them.

Tim, if I had a spare M90 lying around right now in poor shape (like the one Ramon has, I'd be painting and customizing that thing pronto). Nice boxes are .... nice. But crappy boxes are FUN since there is no downside to customizing/updating/colorizing/whatever them. There is ONLY an upside. The only thing is... IS THERE any such thing as a crappy AND cheap M90?

ramons crappy looking m90 --is 100% working/sounding great -
and its a complete//original job --and he USES it -
so --its prolly not so cheap .

however --right before our very eyes -- just 6 months ago...
there was an m90 -- that stayed on ebay --
re-listed for an entire month !!!

and finally -
our own jeff-
won it for about 300 little bucks

so - it can be done

As for Ramon's 100% working crapper -- I don't think I can stand to look at it. It would HAVE to be painted. How about a nice dark maroon metallic?

from out there in cali --for about 500 or less

We are only into day 4 of a 12 day trek Ira. Hopefully, after tomorrow, our very "serious" collectors should begin to post their gold stash. While it may be hard to find a collector with 5 or more carbon copies, many collectors to spare should have 5 of one brand.

I even said it was OK to recycle boxes just to make things easier. Heck, don't we have any collectors in this forum?

OMG Tough Times = 5 Big Ones! I can't wait until times are groovy.

And yeah, the M9994 are some of my FAVS. Bought one brand spankin new 29 years ago for a month and a half's worth of wages. Lost it to a so-called friend who duped me out of it. Been looking for it since and now, I can't get enough of 'em.
