Glad to see this is back on track. You painted the tweeter bezels... PM me if you need the decals to restore the slat edges back to chrome.
Hi super, I have a few boxes with damaged chrome and 2 Conions 100f that need tweeter bezels to be repair at chrome stripes. How can you help me?

Nice, I've been following your blog for a few months waiting to see the final results.
How did you get the paint color ?
Hope to see a post from you .

This restoration is looking great. Love the metallic paint. Sounds like an amazing project to be doing with your son!

Progress has been slow but things are looking up. Just received a message from my painter that the 3D printed tape drawer is ready. He had issues with it keeping color as the natural black color kept bleeding through. Looks good so we're hoping to get the cases and drawer back this week. As for the color he matched the original silver and added the silver metal flake and high gloss finish by request.197805467_587466285604032_4971152925926483611_n.jpg209349053_1193691411115189_8375195353269945483_n.jpg210389963_799142070629418_6868844746008357823_n.jpg2.jpg1.jpg

Tape Deck 2 concerns me a bit. The FF and RW buttons dont stay depressed with a cassette inserted. I haven't been able to figure out why. I also don't see a motor speed screw on the back of the motor like Tape 1 has. Can anyone enlighten me as to how deck 2 functions and where to find the motor speed adjustment?

There is no speed adjustment for deck 2. If you have the same Canon motor as mine, that is. It is 100% sealed, and there is no external speed control logic, so it's set once at the factory. Baffles the mind, but I guess since this is probably a car stereo mechanism maybe it's more common there to not care so much about precision or adjustments.
