That box would look so much better if the chrome grills were raised instead of flush. That way they'd reflect the light more often.

That's what i actually like about it...it's unique looking...AND it's got good solid bass :-D

I have to confess it was now my opportunity to to snap this auction. There has been couple of times before when I tried bidding H84 with my iPhone and lost just because of shitty eBay application and a bad connection. Cheapest went for $250 in Canada. Only worry now is that I was perhaps bidding against another member :-( And will I get the battery door 3D printed some day in the future. Original door will probably never appear available.

so how is it? HOw does it compare to the CF 100?? And post pics when you get a change. The seller's pics were horrible! lol

Hi Gordie, it is a big Conion I guess I've never seem one,it's all good.
I like some waffle grill boomboxes and a lot of others don't.
I bet it sounds good,those woofers look like 8"ers!
I still need to get a C100F.
I guess it's not to bad after all!! :)

I can report that this box has more bass than any other vintage 1-piece I've tried. It is not as "clear" as an M90, but it will easily keep up or beat it in the bass department. As for a C100, well I've never heard a "true" C100, only the Helix AKA I sent to Zippy.....and I think this H84 would beat it.

But what sucks is, the only way I can play MP3's on this is thru the Mic inputs, and only with Rec/Play running. :thumbsdown:

I guess if you want to use an FM transmitter, but in my experience those produce low-quality sound. As does Bluetooth.

Look what's in my tape deck in my pic...THAT'S what you use...so easy and so good and even works with a remote :yes: :thumbsup:

***You need a good fm transmitter if you are going to use one,,,not those crappy Ccrane ones :lol:

Those cost money. :lol:
And don't you need to run Play to make them work? :thumbsdown:

As for FM transmitters.....Sure, there are more powerful ones, but they're expensive, and probably cause cancer :lol:

Bluetooth over A2DP provides lossless audio, this can be measured by checking the sampling frequency and bitrate in Audacious both before and after the source file. Things moved on since all Bluetooth was good for was handsfree mobile.

Sorry but I'm relatively still a newbie here. What exactly do you have in the tape deck? I really can't make out what it is in the picture.
